Park City Ski Resorts will be opening soon later this month and early December. Here are the scheduled season dates for each:
- Canyons Resort: 11/29/13 – 4/13/14
- Deer Valley Resort: 12/7/13 – 4/13/14
- Park City Mountain Resort: 11/23/13 – 4/20/13
2013-14 Season Lift Ticket Prices
Wondering what lift ticket prices will be? Deer Valley has published their single day ticket rates, but Canyons and Park City still have TBA on their. However, I estimated what the prices would be based on their published pre-paid discount priced tickets:
- Canyons: ~$105 Regular Season/$107 Holiday
- Deer Valley: $108 Regular Season/$114 on 12/26-1/4 & 2/15-2/17
- Park City: ~$105 Regular Season/$107 Holiday
If you don’t know already, both Canyons and Park City is offering discount ticket prices up to 35% off regular rates if you pre-purchase them online. The catch is you must buy them 3 days in advance from the Canyons and 1 day in advance from Park City. Deer Valley currently does not have a similar offering. Only multi-day discounts.
Ski Swap
If you missed the annual Park City Ski Swap, there is one more going on in Midway next weekend. The St. Lawrence Ski and Snowboard Sale will be held at the Zermatt Resort on
Friday, Nov. 15th from 9am-6pm and Saturday, Nov. 16th from 9am-4pm. Free Admission! It’s not as big as the Park City Swap, but there is still some great deals to be had. I went last year and snagged an awesome pair of ski pants and snowshoes.
Zermatt Resort Location for Ski Swap
Park City, Canyons and Deer Valley have already been making snow on these cold nights we’ve been having in anticipation for the late November opening. Hopefully, they will be receiving lots of “The Greatest Snow on Earth” in the near future. Can’t wait!
