Although there is still snow in the high country here, Memorial Day is just around the corner and things are heating up. We decided to give Molly Blooms Restaurant and Pub in Park City a try after a movie at the Redstone 8 Cinemas. We were starving and wanted to go somewhere at Kimball Junction as opposed to downtown. Yesterday I took a snowkiting lesson from the Best Snowkite Center in Utah. Our lesson took place in an open field just outside Park City. They offer several different lesson packages which range from 2-4 hours. I got a good deal on the Snowkite Into Clinic from Groupon when they had a one-day sale for $50. Normal price is $175 or $99 midweek.

Maxwell’s East Coast Eatery in Park City, Utah offers The West some of the best eats of The East which is often hard to find in these parts. Oh how I have longed for an authentic New York style pizza that every pizzeria claims to have, but never really delivers (pun intended). We have tried several pizza places over the years that have come really close to NY style. The new Montage Deer valley lodging extravaganza has finally opened. This luxury accommodation complex with 154 deluxe guestrooms, and more than 66 suites and private residences is located mid-mountain with ski-in, ski-out access, of course. There are three high-speed lifts just outside the Montage to get you out on the slopes in no time at all.
