Sundance Resort Information

The Sundance Resort sits at the base of 12,000 ft. Mt. Timpanogos off the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway in Utah. It's about an hour's drive from Salt Lake City, 40 minutes from Park City and 30 minutes from Provo.

The Sundance Resort was voted a Top 10 U.S. Resort in Conde Nast Traveler's 2005 Reader's Poll and named in the 2006 Conde Nast Traveler's Gold List. And of course, home to Sundance Film Festival events.

Sundance is a small but challenging ski area tucked away into the beautiful Timpanogos mountainside. If you don't need or want the close access of lots of shops, restaurants, galleries and nightlife that Park City ski resorts offer then come to Sundance. You could always drive to Park City if the mood strikes you. In the meantime, enjoy the peaceful solitude of Sundance.

Sundance Ticket Prices:

Sundance has the lowest lift ticket prices out of all the Park City Resorts. The other 3 resorts average over $80 or more for a full day ticket. So take advantage of skiing a great mountain, few crowds at a sweet price.

The Sundance Resort also has 26 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails and 10 kilometers of snowshoe trails so you can do some alpine skiing one day, cross-country the next.
