The Canyons

If you're worried about getting bored, then perhaps The Canyons is your best bet. It has 3,700 skiable acres spanning across 8 mountains with 167 trails. We've been to The Canyons numerous times and still haven't seen all its terrain. If you like skiing the trees, then this is your place too, lots of gladed runs.

Park City Mountain Resort

Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) is not that far behind The Canyons with 3,300 skiable acres spread across 8 peaks with 104 trails.

If you're into terrain parks, then PCMR may be the choice for you. The resort has four parks which Transworld Snowboarding Magazine considers to be the very best.

PCMR is also closest to town. In fact it has lift access right from downtown. If you like to be near all the restaurants and shops, then you probably would like to ski and stay here.

Deer Valley

If you really like to get pampered, then Deer Valley is calling your name. As they note, "...we have been committed to providing a level of care rarely found at a ski resort...".

We're talking luxury skiing at its best. They'll try their very best to cater to your every whim. And if you can afford it, then why not?!

Just remember Deer Valley's policy: "No Snowboards, Please".

As you can see the 3 Park City Ski Resorts are rated well in the Top Ski Areas in North America by readers of Ski magazine this year:
    1. Deer Valley
    2. Vail
    3. Whistler/Blackcomb, B.C.
    4. Snowmass
    5. Park City Mountain Resort
    6. Beaver Creek
    7. Aspen
    8. Steamboat
    9. Breckenridge
    10. Telluride
    13. The Canyons

Park City Flights and Vacation Packages

Our favorite way to search for flight and vacation packages is through Expedia. We've used other travel search sites, but Expedia seems to always have the most flights and packages to choose from, better descriptions, and we really like the fare comparison calendar if our dates are flexible. The travel reviews by actual customers are also very helpful.

Use SLC (Salt Lake International) for the Airport Code.

Enjoy your visit to the Park City Ski Resort!
