Fiore Park City Utah Restaurant Review

We took advantage of the Fiore Park City Restaurant "Buy One Dinner Get One Free" fall special in late September and gave them a try at discount. Fiore is located at the bottom of Main on the corner at 900 Main St. Free, validated parking is available at an underground garage nearby or you can use the pay meters right on the street. They specialize in "Classic Italian" fare.

We walked up to the restaurant around 6pm. No one greeted us at the door. One of the staff members saw us but didn’t even say anything. I started a  count-down from 10 seconds. At 0 we were leaving.  At 4 seconds someone finally came to seat us. They weren't even busy and perhaps that was the problem. Maybe 5 tables had diners. They may be more responsive during the winter months and ski season.

We were seated near the window which had a lovely view. They have cozy indoor dining areas as well as outdoor patio seating during the summer and fall. The menu was dirty - it had some kind of food or beverage stains on one of the pages. Personally, it doesn't bother me too much, but my expectations of these types of restaurants are higher than this.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. If you have a coupon, remember to give it to the waitress before you order. They are aware of current coupon deals and expect them so they can calculate your bill correctly the first time. Don't be shy to show them up front.

We both decided to get something from their house specialties list. I got theFiore Park City Restaurant Chicken in Phyllo, my husband chose the Seafood Manicotti. At best, the food was mediocre. For my entree, the chicken at places was thick, somewhat dry and plain tasting. Nothing spectacular. My husband's seafood entree was casserole-like in taste. The seafood sauce was bland and there was so much of it that it was hard to taste the seafood. There were no contrasts in flavor. The glass of Sangria I had was good, but in such a small glass for the price. My husband wanted a beer on tap, but they had none. They do have some Italian specialty drinks which looked good. The bread served before our meals was very tasty. Warm and moist, served with a plate of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and herbs. We had refills twice.

If a website exists for Fiore Park City, we can't find it. But here are additional reviews at Fiore Park City.
