Park City Resorts are offering some great deals for both ski and snowboard lessons during January which is National Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month. Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons Resort and Deer Valley all have something going on. I took advantage of The Canyons deal a couple seasons back when I wanted to learn to snowboard. A year or so ago I picked up a couple of learn to ski and learn to snowboard dvds while browsing in the Park City Dolly’s Bookstore. I first only purchased the Snowboard dvd since I already knew how to ski, but then went back a couple of days later to pick up the skiing version because the snowboard one was so great. I figured the skiing dvd could be helpful too since I may have picked up some bad habits over the years and a refresher course would not hurt, plus the dvd goes beyond basics and covers some advanced (more…)
