This time we used our Living Social voucher on a Friday night to give Shabu a try on Park City’s Main Street. We made reservations for 6pm and when we arrived the place only had a few tables occupied, but they said they were booked for the evening. About an hour or so later, the place was packed, so we do suggest you get reservations.

Our friendly waitress took our drink order: Sapporro Tin (Japanese Rice Lager, $8) and a signature cocktail, (more…)
The Snake Creek Grill is located in Heber City, Utah which is just a short 15-20 minute drive from Park City. The Heber Valley, including Heber City and Midway, offers a variety of activities including snowmobiling, Heber Valley Railroad scenic trips, snow tubing at Soldier Hollow, hot spring soaks and scuba lessons at the Homestead Resort volcanic crater, cross-country skiing, golf, Provo River fly fishing, hot-air balloon rides, just to name a few. So if you take a (more…)
One Friday afternoon for lunch we used our Living Social Deals Coupon at Reyes Adobe in Park City on Main Street. We arrived around 12:30pm and there were four other groups of people eating lunch that afternoon, so not too busy. The person who greeted us at the door was very friendly and seated us promptly. For a semi-empty restaurant, however, it seemed quite awhile for our waitress to come to our table and take our order. The menu had plenty of options to choose from, including the (more…)
We went to Yuki Arashi in Park City on a Sunday afternoon to use another one of our Groupons. For $30, we got $60 of food to order. Yuki Arashi’s cuisine consists of Asian tapas, sushi, sashimi maki and bento boxes. From their lunch menu we ordered the Gyoza (8.95), pan-fried house made pork and cabbage dumplings with soy chili dipping sauce; Tempura ($12.95), a mix of vegetables, shrimp and eel; Teriyaki Beef Bento Box ($12.95) which comes with miso soup, salad, rice and tempura vegetables; two of their Special Maki-Sushi: The Seoul Roll ($15.95) which is ahi and albacore tuna, rolled with avocado and sriracha, tempura fried; and the (more…)
This time we used our Groupon at the Blue Iguana Restaurant in Park City for lunch. It being the off-season, the restaurant was not very crowded on a Thursday afternoon and we were promptly seated by the waiter. The bus boy (not sure what else to call him, but for some reason “bus boy” doesn’t seem right) came to our table right after we were seated and gave us a basket of tortilla chips and bowl of salsa.

The Blue Iguana’s menu consists of all the normal Mexican fare such as (more…)
Cafe Trang in Park City offered a $10 Groupon for $20 worth of food so we decided to give it a try. We arrived at the restaurant on a Friday about 6pm. There were only 3 tables occupied which seemed kind of odd to me for a Friday at dinnertime, but summer is the slow season for Park City. Cafe Trang is also located away from the busier Park City Main Street area which may also be a reason for less customers.
Anyway, we were greeted and seated promptly. The menu is huge, several (more…)
