As to the bread - I wasn't aware bread was supposed to come with my meal until I came home and read the online menu (mentioned in post) which is why I didn't ask. The waitress also didn't return to our table until we were both already finished with our meals.

My dish was very good & I’m sure the owner didn’t grill my friend’s dry chicken sandwich. Every meal I've had has been supurb. The restaurant is owned and run by an ex-Deer Valley Resort Chef and many of the dishes use locally grown produce and meat. Why didn't you ask for the bread instead of complaining about it? Just curious.

I live in Kamas and have eaten at the Gateway Grill many times. Every meal I’ve had has been supurb. I agree, it is a charming little place there in Kamas. For us, the prices were too high for the quality of food.

We haven’t been back either. It's very welcoming - darling restaurant. The servers are prompt. It's too bad that the food keeps disappointing. Nobody at our table of six took more than a couple of bites of eggs, pancakes or hashbrowns. Real butter (instead of margarine) and cleaning the grill would be a big improvement. The servers didn't seem too concerned that they were clearing full plates. We won't be back.

Our Family has eaten at the Yolk three times. I wish there were more Diner's like good ol' Tommy's. They don't make them like they used to. They did do a great job at it's restoration and it is amazing how they moved it across the country.

Hi Angie, thanks for stopping by.
I wish there were more Diner’s like good ol’ Tommy’s. It was a sad day when they had to close their doors for good. The travel to Utah was an amazing story in its self, as was the restorztion of this great American Icon.

My husband’s family owned the Diner when it was called Tommy’s Deluxe Diner for many years, and it was a fabulous place to eat and socialize.
